On July 7, 2013, a progressive journey that began with a word from God in 2008 in Lorton, Virginia, came to pass. At that moment, God spoke the name “Living Water Christian Center Church” (John 4:10v) and told pastor John, “it was to be established in Fredericksburg, Virginia.” He told Pastor John, “this journey would require unwavering faith and absolute trust in him.”
Pastor John received and accepted God’s plan and waited patiently by faith until god would provide the specifics. In July 2012, God provided the release, and July 7, 2013, was designated as the date for the inaugural 1st service. From that moment to the present, Pastors John and Melanie Butler have diligently laid the foundation to walk in obedience and allow God’s work to come to fruition. They maintain a biblically devoted life through prayer, fasting, and a steady diet of God’s word. With continued faith in God and the Holy Spirit working with them (Mark 16:20v), LWC3 will fulfill its God-intended purpose.
